Tens - Completion of a Cycle

Any ten indicates the completion of a cycle and shows us what kind of mastery we have had over the cycle. It also means a new cycle is about to begin.

Ten of Wands - Burdens

The Ten of Wands describes oppressive conditions and a person burdened and overwhelmed by responsibility. This person deals with more than he or she can realistically cope with and is experiencing mental and physical strain.

The card reversed offers some respite from the burdens of carrying a heavy load. The problem may be resolved through delegation and sharing of responsibilities.

Ten of Cups - Loving Home

Contentment comes from home and family life, where deep and loving bonds prevail. There is openness of heart and willingness to include the wants and needs of others, leading to peace, harmony, and well-being.

The card reversed speaks of disputes and quarrels in the home. Close and intimate relationships are unsettling at this time.

Ten of Swords - Defeat

This card shows a victim weakened at the lowest ebb of defeat. There is strong opposition and conflict with the environment, often arising from self-defeating attitudes and behavior. The victim has hit bottom and faces the decision to end self-defeat.

The card reversed indicates power and resolve to rise above defeating circumstances. There is courage and confidence to stand up against the untoward interference and malice of others.

Ten of Pentacles - Family Wealth

This card denotes legacies of birth, the benefits handed down from generation to generation, including genetic traits and positive early learning. Security comes from family wealth, be it inheritances or assistance from family members. It may also signify the birth of a child.

The reversed card suggests family conflicts with differences between the generations. There may be trouble with inheritances, risk of robbery, and possibly loss of family honor.
