Sevens - Unfulfilled Wishes

Seven is a number associated with dreams and visions, yet unfulfilled. Discoveries of spirituality and psychic awareness become a destination, sometimes encountering self-deception along the way.

Seven of Wands - A Good Defense

Consistency overcomes competition, but the competition is consistent and fierce. There is a need to hold one’s ground here with courage and determination. Integrity and strength of character eventually overcome obstacles.

The card reversed shows that a string of small problems must be faced and resolved to avoid awkward situations that result in loss of integrity. It may already be too late in that trust of a person may be in question.

Seven of Cups - Wishful Thinking

Indecision and confusion are an element involved here as someone dreams. Perhaps the inability to make a decision is a result of too many choices or simply because the person is otherwise occupied.

The card reversed suggests that there is ambition to turn a long-cherished dream into reality. There is a new determination to achieve personal goals and objectives.

Seven of Swords - Schemes

Someone is scheming and prepared to act alone on some matter without taking into account the wishes of others who might be involved. The person involved has rationalized this unethical or even dishonest act as necessary or right, invoking a sense of distrust in relationships.

The card reversed shows the outcome of covert actions by a self-serving, scheming individual. An attempt to outsmart or cheat another person may or may not have worked, depending on the adjoining cards.

Seven of Pentacles - Taking Stock

Hard work and persistent effort have paid off, bringing satisfactory material rewards. Now is the time to stop and take stock of the situation before jumping into action again.

The card reversed means that someone is reevaluating his position in a business deal because something is not quite right. Perhaps the business deal is not profitable, or the people involved are causing anxiety.
